winter is setting in
as my sadness
the leaves will fall
as my tears
cold wind through barren trees
blows
as you have flown
the birds will fly south
just as you go
and the rain (our snow)
will pour
and overflow
as the pain in my soul
winter cold returning
as memories
the sun will set too early
as mine
the flowers wilting
and dying.....
